100 Good Wishes Quilt

Evie's new Nana Oma made this quilt. I think it is gorgeous! She collected squares of fabric from our family and friends, and used them to make the quilt. She listed the contributors on the back of the quilt. I thought our wedding ring quilt she made was my favorite thing, but I think this ties it!

While Oma was making Evie's quilt, she also made this one for Emily. I love it!

New Evie pictures!

A wonderful woman named Gail is in China to adopt her 2 boys, and one of her sons is in Dongguan. She got to go to Evie's orphanage, and she took some pictures for us! I can never thank her enough.

Evie just had her head shaved again, and it looks like she has a rash on her chest. I think she needs her mommy, daddy, and big sister to bring her home and take care of her! It also breaks my heart that she looks so serious in each picture. I'm not sure who the people in the background are.
















We're coming to get you soon, honey! Mama, Baba, and JieJie can't wait!

We got our TA for Evie today! We are so excited we can't stand it! Our agency estimates travel in mid to late August, and we will know more in a couple days! I was at Target with Emily when Richard called. We did the happy dance in the girls' shoe aisle!

Emily's News Alert!

Emily's new favorite colors are sky blue and flourescent orange. She still likes pink, though.

She will go back to school at the beginning of August - she will be in the 4th grade!

Now Emily has to go to bed because her mom is getting super duper cranky! Good Night, Emily!

Where is my baby?

Richard wrote a really neat webpage to show where Evie is currently living. I put it over on the right side under Links. You can click on the little marker and up pops her picture! She is living in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China.

We are on Day 55 of our wait for TA. The average wait for TA is 74 days. Not that I'm counting or anything!

We all can't wait to bring home our sweet little girl. Emily cleaned her room today, and set aside a bunch of toys that she's outgrown so Evie can have them. What a good big sister. She also picked out two sweet sundresses for Evie.
