Adoption ramblings. Just skip if you want happy fluffy bunny thoughts, because you won't find them here.
I was going to write a whole post here about some problems I've been hearing about lately in the China adoption community. I don't know if these things happen in other international adoption programs or not. I just don't think that anyone's mind would be changed by what I have to say.
It is very depressing to know that there are people out there who would reject a referral or disrupt an adoption based on things like appearance or age.
I think that some people need to wake up and realize that adoption isn't about them ~ it's about finding a family for a child. I am so grateful that someone thought that we would be a good family for a child, and for Evie in particular.
Richard says I should just stop reading all these stories, because they just make me mad. I think he's probably right. I'm going to bed now.
